What’s the best part of my job? Simple: It’s incredibly rewarding to partner with our customers and help them succeed. As a Link Parks property manager, I have the privilege of championing the dreams of entrepreneurs seeking business park real estate for rent across the Inland Empire —a region spanning from Riverside County to San Bernadino County in Southern California. The feeling of seeing someone’s face light up when they find the right Link Parks space is special, and it’s always inspiring to witness the growth of our customers’ businesses over time. One example: After the Covid-19 pandemic, a Link Parks customer doubled his online bingo card business in two years, leasing an additional 1,800 square feet of space with us to accommodate his increased shipping needs.
What makes Link Parks real estate stand out in the Inland Empire
The Inland Empire attracts an array of businesses with its proximity to major highways, the Ontario International Airport and the Los Angeles and Orange County markets. Link Parks customers in the area range from manufacturing, communications and home improvement companies to construction, wholesale and even body-piercing businesses. We also see e-commerce companies opting for small flex spaces to support broader distribution. Operating costs here are typically lower than in adjacent areas, further making the market a desirable location for customers.
We take pride in investing in our properties to ensure they are clean, secure and perfectly suited to our customers’ needs. Link Parks customers in the Inland Empire generally opt for multi-unit spaces ranging from 2,000 to 15,000 square feet. They’re drawn to our commercial real estate because of our team’s attention to detail, which ensures our spaces are turnkey-ready, whether that means installing new floors or refreshing finishings. Beyond the physical spaces, our team strives to foster a sense of community at our business parks across the U.S. by hosting customer appreciation events and providing personalized service.
Building meaningful Link Parks customer relationships
My favorite part of my job as a Link Parks property manager is interacting with our customers face-to-face, especially during walkthroughs. Recently, a new customer brought his young daughter to his move-in inspection. As we toured the space, I asked the girl what she thought of the shiny windows and new floors. Once we had her stamp of approval and wrapped up the inspection, I surprised her with several Link+ stickers (Link+ is our digital customer experience platform). She was elated! Heartwarming interactions like these help me build strong relationships with our customers and become a trusted partner throughout their journey with us.
Serving diverse small business owners in the Inland Empire
As a daughter of immigrants who founded their own small business after arriving in the U.S., I am inspired by diverse customers who remind me of my family. I truly enjoy seeing their goals come to life and supporting them in the process—especially when it comes to overcoming language barriers. I understand the struggle of seeking help when English isn’t your first language. I often served as my family’s Spanish-to-English translator and that’s why I’m always happy to assist our Spanish-speaking customers and help them feel comfortable. Our local Link Parks team prioritizes building meaningful, proactive relationships with our customers so they can thrive. From day one, we offer 24/7 support via Link+, text or phone call. Night or day, one of us is happy to assist.
At Link Parks, we are proud to provide quality commercial real estate space for our customers while helping them succeed. As the Inland Empire business park market evolves, our local team will continue to provide the right spaces to help our customers flourish. I’m grateful that I get to play a role in these entrepreneurs’ unique journeys—one phone call, walkthrough and meaningful connection at a time.
